Milan Bukvić (1996)

Milan Bukvić is the youngest Chaser on the Serbian version of the popular quiz show Potera (based on The Chase), broadcast by Radio Television Serbia (RTS), where he has nearly achieved celebrity status. Born in 1996 in Kragujevac, Serbia, he graduated with top honors (straight A’s) from the Faculty of Political Sciences at the University of Belgrade and later pursued a master’s degree in philosophy at the University of Novi Sad.

However, since the beginning of the 2024/25 Serbian anti-corruption protests, he has begun promoting anti-Western, pro-Putin Russian propaganda in Serbian media, adopting an extreme left-wing stance. For this reason, the organizers of the student protests have repeatedly invited him to appear on their electoral list, but he has so far declined.

Below is an excerpt from a broadcast on KTV Zrenjanin, aired on May 27, 2025, in which he, among other things, claims the following:

  • He describes his ideology as anti-imperialist, sovereigntist, and European communist-Bolshevik.
  • He primarily blames the corrupt West for supporting Serbian authoritarian president Aleksandar Vučić.
  • He harshly criticizes the NATO alliance and accuses the West of deliberately murdering former Serbian president Slobodan Milošević at the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia (ICTY).
  • He supports various pro-Russian left-wing political entities in Serbia and Europe, such as Sahra Wagenknecht and Die Linke in Germany.
