Siniša Jevtić (b. 1975) is an alleged Serbian war veteran and one of numerous individuals from the 1990s who have claimed participation in the Battle of Košare which took place near the village of Košare on the border between the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia and Albania, from 9 April to 10 June 1999, during the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia. He has been particularly vocal in his pro-Russian and Serbian national-revisionist narratives and activities, some of which are directly connected to the Serbian government apparatus. For example, he is the founder of the pro-Russian (go)NGO Fondacija Bojevo bratstvo, which is directly affiliated with the Kruševac-based pro-Kremlin (go)NGO Udruženje ratnih veterana Bojevo bratstvo Kruševac, led by Dragan Jakovljević (b. 1970). Amid ongoing Russian aggression against Ukraine, these organizations have collaborated to organize a youth camp supported by the Russian Embassy in Belgrade. He has also actively participated as one of the “guardians” of 2024/25 students protests in Serbia.
An example of Jevtić’s anti-Western public engagement is an interview he gave to the pro-Russian propaganda outlet Srbin Info on December 10, 2021, in which he claimed that NATO’s goal during the 1999 bombing campaign of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia was to occupy the entire territory of Serbia, while promoting a typical pro-Serbian national-revisionist narrative concerning Kosovo:
