Viacheslav Kalinin (1979)

NIFA presents contacts of Viacheslav “Slava” Kalinin (born 1979), a “retired” Russian military security operative with active connections in Serbia, who was arrested in Belgrade on Nov. 7, 2025 and then promptly released by the Serbian authorities.
In addition to his cooperation — among others — with the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Serbia, NIFA possesses data on his connections with several GONGO and anti-Western propaganda groups, including:

  • “Strategic associate” of the Center for Geostrategic Studies, Dragana Trifković (born 1976)
  • Novica Antić (born 1978) and the Military Trade Union of Serbia
  • Nenad Stanić (born 1973) — https://nifainfo.org/individuals/nenad-stanic-1973/
  • Movement of Patriots of the Homeland and Diaspora (ROD), pro-Russian agent of influence and Member of Parliament Dragan Stanojević (born 1971)
  • All-Serbian Union of Veterans “Combat Brotherhood” led by Slavoljub Ljubisavljević (born 1962)
  • Association of Military Police Veterans of Serbia headed by Jovića Stanković (born 1968)
  • “Heroic 549th Motorized Brigade Tsar Dušan the Mighty” led by Vladan Ranković (born 1979)
  • Vladimir Kuvalja (born 1977), Center for the Advancement and Development of Sports Cooperation between Serbia and Republika Srpska

What is also relevant is that, after the European edition of the U.S. outlet POLITICO reported that Mr. Kalinin has close ties with the pro-Russian agent of influence in Serbia, Novica Antić (represented by lawyer Ivan Ninić, born 1988), part of the so-called “independent” media and analysts — such as military analyst Aleksandar Radić (born 1971) — attempted to discredit those claims, alleging that they were “extreme anti-Russian propaganda.”

A more detailed dossier on Mr. Kalinin, as well as documented evidence of his contacts with other pro-Russian agents of influence in Serbia, is available upon personal request from NIFA.
